Hai Nam Mee

I have absolutely no clue what Hai Nam Mee is but it looked good on the menu so thought I'd try.

I like the texture of the noodles. It's like egg noodles but not as long as your normal egg noodles because it's all chopped up into 3 inches in length instead. It's stir-fried but with some soup around it - what Asians call wet noodles and therefore, easy on the throat

WHAT's IN IT:
Prawns, minced chicken, tomatoes, chopped bird's eye chili (yup, it's spicy), red chili, pickled cucumber and onions, chopped omellette and fried shallots as garnish.

TASTE:
With the exception of the lime taste (rather overpowering), the dish is an easy one to swallow. There's the usual garlicky and seafood tastes but all was overpowered by that lime. I don't know if lots of lime is what makes Hai Nam noodles because it really is sour and I can't stress this enough. I don't think I'll come back for it.
